An 18th century manor house in North-Western Finland, Akola has experienced a rebirth through the meticulous work of designer and architect Teemu Kurkela and his company JKMM.

Combining contemporary and Japanese elements with the revealed historic texture, the building and its surroundings have experienced a rebirth as a retreat to the senses.
