The Little Architect

The idea of using a drone to interactively make school children aware of their urban context was initiated by Dolores Victoria Ruiz-Garrido, the creator of the program ‘Little Architect’.

The film follows groups from four primary schools in Folkestone, Kent as they explore their school’s neighbourhood and the artwork created in an industrial area called the Gasworks.

Based at the Architectural Association school in London ‘Little Architect’ workshops target children around the UK and encourage interaction and critical awareness towards the built environment from early age.
